2013 Summer Camp Dates Set

Hello friends of Sharing Meadows! Now is the time of year when we are looking for dedicated, caring people to help staff our 2013 Summer Camps! We welcome 25-30 different developmentally disabled adults each week, for 6 consecutive weeks. This is one of their few chances to take a break from their daily routine, to meet old and make new friends, in effect, this is their vacation! Please consider spending some time with these wonderful people this summer to not only help make their Camp experience great, but also to experience and share the love that Christ has for all of us. We are still in need of Counselors and Nurses. Volunteer or Paid. One week, six weeks, or any in between! No experience with the other abled is necessary, just the desire to truly serve! July 7 – 12 (Catholic week)
July 14 – 19

Announcing the 21st Annual Share Classic Golf Outing to be held on Monday, June 24th for the first time at Long Beach Country Club in Long Beach, Indiana.

All proceeds benefit the Share Foundation that exists to serve the residential, vocational and social needs of developmentally disabled adults.  The Share Classic includes lunch, a round of golf, a delicious dinner and door prizes.  The cost for this entire day is only $175 per person.  You can reserve a place for you or your foursome today!

There are many ways to be involved in the Share Classic even if you are not a golfer.  You or your business can donate a door prize to be awarded to one lucky golfer at dinner or you can sponsor a sign that will be placed next to one of the holes for only $100.  These are all great ways to get your name out to our golfers and show your support of Share Foundation’s programs for other-abled adults!

The Share Foundation is a not for profit organization that serves the residential, vocational and social needs of mentally retarded/other abled adults. SHARE has developed the 185 acre community of Sharing Meadows to provide a tranquil place where other abled people can live, work, and relax in peace and dignity.
