What a day for the 31st Annual Leprechaun Hunt!
We couldn’t have asked for better weather—high 70s, low 80s, and sunny skies made for the perfect backdrop to our beloved Irish family festival. Nearly 5,000 attendees spent the day dancing to the lively sounds of Celtic Roots and Kennedy’s Kitchen, all while scouring our 200 acres for those pesky leprechauns. Twenty-one lucky hunters found them and walked away with prizes!
The festival grounds were filled with laughter, music, and the mouthwatering aroma of delicious food and drinks. A special shoutout goes to our newest vendor, Pink Flamingo Cotton Candy, who quickly became a fan favorite! Over in the Kids Zone, the excitement never stopped—John Measner’s magic shows drew big crowds, while bounce houses, an obstacle course, and talented face painters kept little ones smiling all day.
Our raffles and Live Auction kept the energy high, with crowd-pleasing prizes like a Brewery Bus Tour for 12 and a quarter hind of beef. And of course, we’ll never forget the moment the Villagers led the crowd in a spirited singalong of “Go Cubs Go” and the YMCA!
This year, thanks to an expanded sound system, we were able to share our mission more prominently than ever. Guests heard heartfelt words from our Executive Director, a Villager, a Villager family, and a camper—reminding everyone that the true purpose of the day is to build community and support our incredible friends, the Villagers and campers of Sharing Meadows.
The day simply would not have been possible without the 150+ volunteers and staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes—manning booths, replenishing ice and drinks, cooking meals, driving tractors, and so much more. We are deeply grateful for every one of you.
Finally, thank you to everyone who came out to make this day unforgettable. Your support, laughter, and friendship are what keep this tradition alive. Mark your calendars now—the 32nd Annual Leprechaun Hunt will be held on August 2, 2026. We can’t wait to see you there!
